The Strong SRT5441 is a High Definition Digital Terrestrial DVB-T Receiver with a difference. Just add an external eSATA or USB 2.0 hard disk and it becomes a Digital TV Recorder / PVR!

It is also one of the very few receivers with H.264/MPEG-4 decoders. This is the format on which Freeview Australia plans to broadcast its Electronic Program Guide (EPG). The receiver carries Freeview certification.

The Strong SRT-5441 can display the new Freeview High Defintion Digital TV channels on virtually any older standard non-HD TV!

Having HDMI Digital output means it can connect directly to flat panel displays such as computer LCD monitors that have HDMI inputs (or DVI inputs, with an adaptor).
